      <description>Location: Dunfermline | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | First Task Professional are delighted to be partnering with an established civils and groundworks contractor that requires a Quantity Surveyor due to recent project wins and a sustained period of growth. The business primarily works across Fife, Lothians, Perth &amp; Borders and delivers a variety of earthworks, roads and drainage projects for main contractors, developers and private clients up to the value of -3m.  Working closely with the Senior QS, you will be involved with:    Manage the commercial aspects of multiple groundworks projects from inception to final account   Measure and value work, prepare interim applications and final accounts   Identify and manage variations, valuations, and change   Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting   Liaise closely with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project profitability   Assist in procurement and management of subcontractors   Ensure compliance with contracts and mitigate commercial risks   Rewards:    Salary up to -55,000 DOE + car allowance   Bonus up 10%   Please contact John Gillen should you be interested in hearing more.</description>
