Quantity SurveyorLocation: Falmer, East SussexRate: Up to 400 per day (Inside IR35)Hybrid Working: 3 Days per Week in OfficeSector: Water InfrastructureWe are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a major Southern Water programme based in Falmer.This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term infrastructure framework delivering critical projects across the water network. We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within the Water, Civil Engineering, Utilities or MandE sectors and are comfortable operating within NEC4 contract environments.Key Responsibilities:Commercial management of projects from inception through to final accountPreparation and assessment of applications, valuations and compensation eventsContract administration under NEC4 contractsCost forecasting, reporting and budget managementManagement of subcontractor accounts and procurement activitiesSupporting project teams to achieve commercial and contractual objectivesRequirements:Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Water, Civils, Utilities or MandE projectsStrong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, particularly Options A, C and EExcellent commercial and contractual awarenessStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsRelevant degree or equivalent qualification preferredWhat''s on Offer:Up to 400 per day (Inside IR35)Long-term contract opportunityHybrid working with 3 days per week based in the Falmer officeOpportunity to work on a major water infrastructure ..... full job details .....
