We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading tier 1 main contractor based in Hampshire. The business unit undertakes projects across the healthcare, education, retirement living and industrial sectors valuing between -20mil - -100mil+. Projects are a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract, and are often directly awarded.

As a result of a busy upcoming pipeline of work, they''re now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to final account, reporting into the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Be involved in 2-stage tenders
• Sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Deal with final accounts

Key requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• Construction related HNC / Degree
• Experience working within a main contractor
• Experience administering JCT forms of contract
• Must live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth
