Salary/Package - -60,000 + -6,000 Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Package

Our client is a leading specialist access contractor providing innovative access solutions to the construction and industrial sectors across the UK. Continued growth has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

As Estimator / Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for scaffolding and specialist access projects

• Managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

• Producing detailed take-offs, cost plans, and pricing schedules

• Obtaining and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

• Preparing applications for payment, valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Monitoring project costs and producing regular commercial reports

• Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities

• Supporting contract negotiations and subcontract procurement

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and operational teams

• Supporting project handovers and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-construction to delivery

The successful Estimator / Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Previous experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or in a dual commercial role within the construction industry

• Experience within scaffolding, access solutions, specialist subcontracting, or the wider construction sector would be highly advantageous

• Strong commercial awareness and estimating ability

• Experience managing valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes

• Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills

• A proactive, organised, and commercially focused approach

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Competitive basic salary of -60,000
