Quantity SurveyorWe are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction and civil engineering business in Cardiff. Experience within general civil engineering would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other relevant construction backgrounds will also be considered.The Quantity Surveyor RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with clients, subcontractors, project teams and senior management to ensure projects are delivered successfully from both a commercial and contractual perspective.Key responsibilities will include:Conducting measurements and valuationsPreparing and negotiating interim valuationsPreparing and agreeing final accountsMonitoring the financial performance of contractsProducing project performance reports for senior managementCommunicating directly with clients regarding project performanceEnsuring customer payments are received within agreed contractual termsProcuring subcontractorsManaging subcontractor accountsPricing projects prior to contract agreementSupporting the wider commercial team throughout project deliveryQuantity Surveyor RequirementsThe successful Quantity Surveyor ..... full job details .....
