Quantity Surveyor

The Company Our client is an established main contractor in Suffolk with an annual turnover of approximately 20 million, delivering a diverse range of construction projects across East Anglia. Operating across sectors including education, healthcare, housing, commercial and retail, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering quality projects and maintaining lasting client relationships. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS to join their commercial team. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of construction projects from procurement and contract award through to final account. Working closely with the operational team, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, you will help ensure projects are delivered within budget, commercially controlled and to the required standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join a growing main contractor offering exposure to a varied portfolio of projects across the region. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects from inception through to completion. Prepare, review and manage project budgets, cost plans and cash flow forecasts.
