Quantity Surveyor - Drylining and InteriorsLocation: Wellingborough Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the RolePPM Recruitment is currently working with an established and growing specialist contractor within the drylining and interiors sector to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Wellingborough.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with experience in drylining, plastering, partitioning, suspended ceilings and interior fit-out projects to join a successful business with a strong pipeline of work.The successful candidate will take commercial responsibility for projects from initial tender and procurement through to final account, ensuring that costs are controlled, contractual obligations are met and profitability is maximised.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial aspects of drylining and interior fit-out projects from inception through to completion.Prepare, review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier packages.Clients include : residential, extra-care, student accommodation and commercial.Manage project budgets, cost plans, valuations and financial forecasts.Prepare and submit interim applications for payment and manage cash flow.Measure and value variations, additional works and compensation events where applicable.Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.Monitor project costs against budgets, identifying ..... full job details .....
