Quantity Surveyor needed in Peterborough!Location: PeterboroughPermanent Salary: 40,000 - 55,000.Working Pattern: 5 Days Per Week On SiteAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a civil engineering contractor delivering a major programme of heavy civil engineering works.The position is primarily based in Peterborough, working five days per week in the office.The Role:You''ll work closely with the project and commercial teams, taking responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.Key responsibilities include:Subcontractor procurement and managementApplications, valuations and paymentsCost reporting and forecastingManaging variations and changeSupporting NEC contract administrationIdentifying and managing commercial riskWorking closely with operational and project teamsPreparing and agreeing final accountsMaintaining strong relationships with clients and the supply chainWhat We''re Looking ForIdeally, you''ll have:Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructureWater, utilities or heavy civils experience would be beneficialGood understanding of NEC contractsStrong commercial and subcontract management experienceHNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferredWhat''s on OfferCompetitive salary and packageLong-term secured water infrastructure workMajor projects across the Peterborough regionStrong career progressionEstablished ..... full job details .....
