Quantity Surveyor

First Task Professional is working with a well-established joinery sub-contractor to source a Quantity Surveyor for their business in Glasgow. This company turnover c. -17m and works with the majority Tier 1 contractors to deliver internal partitions, drylining and joinery packages up to the value of -4m.-

Working closely with the Commercial Director your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs
• Pricing various work packages based on project drawings and specifications
• Material procurement
• Pricing and management of variations
• Preparing and submitting monthly valuations
• Attending progress meetings
• Negotiating final accounts.
