Salary: -50,000 - -60,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We''re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Welwyn Garden City, with a strong focus on repairs and maintenance in the social housing sector.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be responsible for the commercial management of repairs and maintenance contracts. You''ll work closely with our operations and finance teams to ensure the delivery of cost-effective solutions, accurate reporting, and contractual compliance.

• Manage all commercial aspects of housing repairs and maintenance projects

• Prepare valuations, cost reports, and forecasts

• Monitor contract progress and ensure profitability

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

• Assist in tender processes and contract negotiations

• Ensure compliance with National Housing Federation (NHF) Schedule of Rates

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in repairs and maintenance, preferably within social housing

• Strong understanding of the National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost reporting tools

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)
