Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a-leading Tier One Main Contractor with a national reputation for delivering excellence in construction and maintenance. Within the-thriving Social Housing Division, they-are proud to support Local Authorities and Housing Associations through high-quality planned maintenance programmes that improve homes and enhance lives.
Due to continued growth and project demand, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dedicated team. This role will focus on planned maintenance works including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, external works, and M&E upgrades across social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all commercial aspects of planned maintenance contracts from inception to final account.

Ensure cost control, valuation, variations, and commercial reporting is accurate and timely.

Work closely with site teams, supply chain, and client representatives to ensure smooth delivery.

Prepare and submit applications for payment and agree final accounts.

Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and support procurement strategy.

Maintain strong relationships with Local Authority clients, ensuring transparency and trust.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a main contractor.

Experience in planned maintenance or social housing refurbishment is highly desirable.

Understanding of frameworks and contracts such as NEC or JCT.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and financial management skills.

Full UK driving licence.
