Quantity Surveyor

Owing to successful growth, Contract Scotland are delighted to be working with a construction and fit-out company to source an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Delivering projects across a range of sectors, including fast-track retail, commercial, industrial, leisure, and more, they have secured a strong pipeline of work across the UK.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial aspects of construction projects run out of their Warrington office. You will be required to be in Warrington approximately 2 days per week (1 overnight), with the remainder of the week spent in their head office in East Kilbride.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a fresh challenge with a well-established but growing business.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- End-to-end commercial management of construction and fit-out projects.
- Budget control, cost forecasting, and value engineering.
- Liaison with project delivery teams and subcontractors.
- Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts.
- Supporting procurement and contract administration.
What we''re looking for:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Circa 5 years Quantity Surveying experience, ideally in retail fit-out or similar fast-paced environments.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work autonomously.
- Willingness to travel to Warrington weekly.
