Quantity Surveyor

A position has become available for a Experienced Quatity Surveyor to work for a Civils Contractor based in Aldermaston.-

The Contractor operates as a subcontractor to Main Contractors within the Water Sector and Housing sector.-

Due to an increase in workload a Quantity Surveyor is required to join the team, please note this role can be office based or work from home.-

Responsibilities

• Measurement and valuations of works for applications, variations and final accounts with both clients and suppliers.
• Ensure all contracts in supply chain are fit for purpose
• Cash Flow Forecasts
• Preparing Tenders-
• Managing the dispute and defects process with the Client and Subcontractors
• Attend Client progress meetings.

Qualifications/Skills

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or other related discipline (can be substituted by a relevant HNC and suitable experience
• Good MS Excel skills-
• Experience with Civil Engineering and Construction projects
• Experience of working within the Water Industry would be advantageous-
