Salary: -45,00050,000 plus Company car or car allowance

Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a driven and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to become part of our expanding team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing project finances, and supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of projects and ensuring financial performance is maintained. Your responsibilities will include:

• Tracking the progress of contracts and identifying any variations that may impact project costs or delivery schedules
• Working closely with Contract Managers to clarify project requirements and specifications
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor valuations and payments
• Supporting the management and monitoring of project budgets
• Producing and maintaining cash flow forecasts for allocated projects
• Preparing and submitting monthly payment applications to clients or their representatives
• Compiling monthly valuation and financial progress reports
• Issuing invoices for certified amounts and following up to ensure timely payment
• Participating in meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships
• Contributing to the development of procurement plans
• Assisting with the preparation and evaluation of estimates, bids, and tender submissions within strict deadlines

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally:

• Have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial role
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and financial management skills
• Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Be well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
