A well-established building and refurbishment contractor that specialises in high-end residential projects in London and the southeast is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The Quantity Surveyor will work alongside a team that focuses solely on bespoke residential refurbishments and new builds in the southeast and London. The company has a strong pipeline of work and is offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent support and development prospects.

They have a turnover or around -80 million the company is of large size and has a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional standard of work. They also offer a financially stable future.

Quantity surveyor Role

You''ll be working on a -9 million single dwelling residential conversion into a 7-bedroom boutique hotel. Its an incredible project with a future pipeline of similar projects.

You''ll be based on site near High-Wycombe.

You''ll also benefit from a full-time, site-based team of a contracts manager, site manager and an assistant quantity surveyor for you to mentor.

Projects range from -2 million to -80 million. The projects are some of the best London and the South East has to offer.

Ideally you will have experience of Prime / Super prime property.

There''s value engineering, procurement and a very dynamic and fast paced element to this project.

You will be responsible for -

• Cost Reporting
• Tender and contract documents
• CVR''s
• Bills of Quants
• Attend professional and client meetings
• Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedule
• Mitigate commercial risks

The Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

• 5 years + Experience
• Experience of working for a main contractor
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
