Quantity surveyor

Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Cut & Carve Refurbishment | Reading

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a -16m cut & carve refurbishment project in Reading. This scheme will run for 12 months, with responsibility through to CAT A completion.

The Role:

• Manage commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final account.

• Oversee subcontractor accounts, variations, valuations, and payments.

• Prepare cost reports and forecasts, ensuring budget control.

• Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to drive commercial performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering cut & carve refurbishment projects.

• Strong knowledge of procurement, cost control, and contract management.

• Ability to manage high-value packages on complex schemes.

• Available to start promptly and commit for the project duration.
