Quantity Surveyor

We''re seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join a civil engineering contractor delivering major civil engineering projects across the region. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing costs, contracts, and client relationships on technically challenging works.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing project costs from tender through to final account
Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports
Reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial procedures
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
What we''re looking for:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in heavy civils (earthworks, structures, highways, or marine)
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial processes
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
Detail-driven, proactive, and commercially focused approach
