Quantity Surveyor

We''re seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join a civil engineering contractor delivering major civil engineering projects across the region. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing costs, contracts, and client relationships on technically challenging works.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project costs from tender through to final account

• Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports

• Reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial procedures

• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams

• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options

What we''re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in heavy civils (earthworks, structures, highways, or marine)

• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial processes

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team

• Detail-driven, proactive, and commercially focused approach
