PSR Solutions are proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor for a landmark -60m mixed-use development in the heart of London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across London and the South East. The business is known for delivering high-quality, complex schemes across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and career progression.

The Project

A prestigious -60m mixed-use development comprising high-spec residential units, commercial space, and associated infrastructure, situated in a prime Central London location. The scheme is currently in the early stages of construction, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved through to final account.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will work as part of a strong commercial team and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager. You will take responsibility for key packages and play a pivotal role in managing the financial performance of the project.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing subcontract procurement from tender through to award

• Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation

• Cost planning and budget management

• Managing subcontractor payments, valuations, and variations

• Monitoring project costs and reporting to senior management

• Supporting with monthly CVRs and financial reporting

• Managing risk and ensuring contractual compliance

• Contributing to final account negotiations

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor

• Experience delivering large-scale projects (ideally -30m+)

• Strong knowledge of JCT forms of contract

• Experience working on mixed-use, residential, or commercial schemes

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
