Quantity Surveyor

Ridgeway & Co are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in London. This is a permanent role offering long-term career development, working on high-value projects across the capital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final accounts

• Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and progress claims

• Assess and approve subcontractor applications and payments

• Provide accurate cost forecasting, CVRs, and financial reporting to senior management

• Support the project delivery team with cost control and budget management

• Ensure compliance with contracts, legislation, and company processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Tier 1 main contractor

• Strong commercial awareness and cost management expertise

• Demonstrated experience managing packages on major projects

• Excellent negotiation, reporting, and communication skills

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
