Job Title Requirement: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position with our client located in Canterbury, Kent. This role involves overseeing all commercial aspects of construction projects, including cost management, procurement, and contractual negotiations, mainly working on fit out projects throughout Kent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

• Managing budgets
• Preparing tenders, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets and timelines
• It is essential that the candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with both clients and contractors to ensure successful project delivery

Experience Required;

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a solid understanding of construction costs and contractual processes.
• Experience on fit out projects an advantage 
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and relevant estimating software.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed cost reports and budgets.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Building Regulations and health & safety standards.
