Quantity Surveyor

A well-established contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a -20m fa-ade remediation scheme based in Brighton, with the project located directly next to the main railway station.

This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a busy project team, reporting into an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, and playing a key role in the commercial delivery of a major remediation project.

The Role

You will support the commercial management of a -20m fa-ade remediation project, assisting with procurement, subcontractor management, cost reporting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of the project

• Managing subcontractor procurement and packages

• Preparing cost reports and valuations

• Assisting with variations and final accounts

• Monitoring project costs and ensuring commercial performance

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (essential)

• Previous experience working for a main contractor

• Background working with a Tier 2 contractor preferred

• Fa-ade remediation or fa-ade package experience strongly preferred

• Currently operating at Project Quantity Surveyor level

• Must live within a 45-minute commute of Brighton

Package

• Salary: -65,000 all-in

• 22 days holiday + bank holidays
