Quantity Surveyor - RefurbishmentSouth East London Up to 75,000 + Package Main ContractorAn opportunity has come up with a long-established South East London main contractor specialising in refurbishment and construction within existing buildings.Operating for over 85 years, the business delivers a varied portfolio of refurbishment, maintenance and fit-out projects across London and the South East, working across residential, education, commercial, heritage and public-sector schemes.They are now looking for a well-rounded Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.This isn''t a role where you''ll be pigeonholed into one part of the commercial process. You''ll get involved across both pre and post-contract, including:Tendering, measurement and pricingSubcontractor procurementValuations and variationsCVRs, forecasting and cost controlSubcontract accountsFinal accountsThe business has a flat structure, giving you direct exposure to Contracts Managers and Directors, with plenty of autonomy and responsibility.Ideally, you''ll have experience working for a main contractor within refurbishment, maintenance or construction within existing buildings.
