Quantity Surveyor Location: Maidstone, Kent Salary: DOE + Benefits THE OPPORTUNITY CPXR is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in Maidstone, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil engineering, groundworks, infrastructure or construction who is looking for a role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to develop their career within a growing contractor. The role will involve managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering and groundworks projects, including cost control, valuations, variations, subcontractor management, forecasting and final accounts. THE ROLE Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of civil engineering and groundworks projects Preparing and submitting valuations, applications for payment and final accounts Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts to ensure commercial performance Managing subcontractor accounts, payments, variations and valuations Identifying, pricing and negotiating variations and additional works Supporting project teams with commercial advice and cost management Preparing monthly cost/value reports and providing accurate financial forecasts Reviewing contracts, drawings, specifications and project documentation Building and ..... full job details .....
