Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Location: East Kent with sites in London and South East Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 DOE THE OPPORTUNITY CPXR is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, award-winning Design and Build contractor based in East Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with Commercial Fit-Out and Design and Build experience looking to join a successful business delivering high-quality workplace, hospitality and retail projects across London and the South East. The role will involve managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and clients. THE ROLE Manage projects from tender through to final account Prepare valuations, variations and monthly CVRs Procure subcontractors and suppliers Monitor project budgets, costs and cashflow Negotiate subcontractor packages and final accounts Work closely with Project Managers and clients throughout project delivery THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor Essential Commercial Fit-Out and Design and Build experience Experience managing projects from procurement through to final account Strong understanding of valuations, variations, CVRs and cost reporting Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills Full UK driving licence The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and building strong relationships with clients, ..... full job details .....
