Are you looking to take the next step in your commercial career and get involved in major energy infrastructure projects?This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor working across the Energy and Transmission sector, supporting major projects that are helping shape the future of the UK''s energy infrastructure.We are currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join the Transmission team, with the opportunity to work on a major £100m transmission line project between Galashiels and Kelso.The OpportunityThe project is currently in its early design phase, providing an excellent opportunity to become involved from an early stage and develop your experience across a major infrastructure project.The role will initially be primarily Bathgate-based, with site visits increasing as the project progresses. Longer term, the project is expected to develop into a significant site operation, with a dedicated site office of around 60 people anticipated within the next 2 3 years, alongside plans for a large yard and full site setup in Kelso.As an Assistant QS or QS, you will have the opportunity to work within a major project environment, gaining valuable exposure to the commercial management of large-scale transmission infrastructure.What We''re Looking ForWe are open to candidates with a broad Quantity Surveying background.
