Quantity Surveyor - Construction

Quantity Surveyor Permanent role / Aberdeen / RTW Required Overview We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team within the construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender stage through to final account, ensuring costs are effectively controlled, risks are managed, and projects are delivered within agreed budgets. This position offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, collaborating closely with project teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare budget estimates, detailed cost plans and project forecasts.Review project documentation and specifications to gain a clear understanding of project requirements.Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing submissions.Support procurement activities and advise on suitable procurement strategies.Prepare tender documentation, subcontract packages and associated commercial information.Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure value for money.Monitor project expenditure and manage variations throughout the project lifecycle.Produce regular commercial reports, including cost forecasts and margin analysis.Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.Prepare and agree interim valuations and applications for payment.Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors.Conduct site visits and measurements when required.Support project ..... full job details .....
