CNX Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a fast growing Design and Build Main Contractor, in the appointment of an experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Glasgow team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across Scotland. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while driving commercial performance and managing risk. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure financial control, profitability, and contractual compliance. Key responsibilities include: Managing all commercial aspects of multiple projects Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and subcontracts Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting Valuations, variations, and final accounts Risk and opportunity management Cash flow management and cost control Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT/NEC) Demonstrable experience managing projects independently Excellent commercial awareness and ..... full job details .....
