Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Refurbishment

We''re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support refurbishment projects based in Derby, the successful candidate will be responsible for cost control, procurement, valuations, and commercial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of project cost control from inception to final accountPrepare valuations, variations, and interim applicationsHandle subcontractor procurement and commercial managementWork closely with the Site Manager and client-side stakeholdersEnsure accurate commercial reporting and forecastingRequirements:Proven experience as a QS on commercial refurbishment projectsStrong knowledge of construction contracts and cost managementExcellent negotiation and analytical skillsAbility to travel between Warwick and Nottingham as requiredExperience in utilities or infrastructure projects is a plus Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar (or equivalent experience)Member of or working towards MRICS/CIOB (preferred but not essential)Experience in commercial refurbishments, ideally within infrastructure or utilitiesStrong knowledge of JCT/NEC contractsProficient in Excel and industry-standard QS software Give Jack Carter a call for more detail (phone number removed) RG Setsquare is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.RG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
