Your new companyYou will be joining a highly respected and specialist contractor based in Coventry operating across the highways, rail and environmental sectors. This multi-accredited and well-established contractor delivers projects valued up to £6m for the Environment Agency, National Highways and HS2, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. They have a strong pipeline of work and, due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.This is a full-time remote position with office and site travel as and when required.Working hours: 8:30am - 17:00pmYour new roleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring financial performance, managing risk and maintaining strong client relationships.Key responsibilities include:Managing subcontract accounts, from procurement to final account settlementReviewing and negotiating contract conditions (primarily NEC)Monitoring project costs, revenue and profitability through CVR analysisPreparing and submitting applications for payment and resolving disputes or delaysIdentifying, valuing and agreeing variations and change ordersProducing commercial forecasts, final accounts and loss and expense claimsLiaising with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ..... full job details .....
