Quantity Surveyor

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a successful construction and property business delivering high-end residential projects across London. Working within the company s City office, you will be involved in the commercial management of luxury residential refurbishments, bespoke fit-outs, new-build homes and high-specification developments, working with discerning clients and leading consultants across some of London s most prestigious locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working on complex, design-led projects where quality, attention to detail and commercial control are paramount. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Prepare and maintain detailed cost plans, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections. Lead procurement and tendering of subcontractor and supplier packages. Obtain, analyse and negotiate quotations and subcontract agreements. Prepare valuations, applications for payment and monthly commercial reports. Monitor and manage variations, changes and commercial risks. Manage subcontractor accounts, payments and final accounts. Identify commercial opportunities and ensure projects remain within agreed budgets. Review drawings, specifications and scopes of work to ensure accurate cost management.
