Quantity Surveyor - Ceramic Tiling

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, with a background working for a Main Contractor or a Ceramic Tiling business?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a regional-finishing company, who are currently on the look out for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. As a Quantity Surveyor for the business, You will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of our projects and ensure continued financial success for the business.

What are we looking for?

• Prior experience working as a Quantity Surveyor-for a main contractor or similar finishing/cermaic tiling business.
• Quantity-Surveying Degree.
• Nice to have, a RICS chartership.
• Strong understanding of materials, pricing & contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experienced in taking off and ordering materials, including pre scheduling deliveries and load out lists.
• Confident in reviewing booking in / invoices and cross checking progress against. Must be able to accurately review and confident to challenge any overbooking / discrepancies.
• Accurately record progress, both internally for cost management / tracking purposes and externally through monthly applications.
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure successful, efficient delivery of projects.
