A client is seeking two experienced Quantity Surveyors with a house-building background to join their team in Wakefield. This role is crucial to ensuring the financial success of residential construction projects, working across all project stagesandmdash;from pre-construction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
£ Cost Estimation andndash; Assess project drawings/specifications to calculate material, labour, and equipment costs.
£ Budget Management andndash; Track and manage project budgets to ensure financial accuracy.
£ Procurement andndash; Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
£ Contract Administration andndash; Assist with contracts, assess variations/claims, and ensure compliance.
£ Value Engineering andndash; Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
£ Risk Management andndash; Monitor and mitigate financial and operational risks.
£ Cost Control andndash; Implement measures to track and optimise spending.
£ Final Account Settlement andndash; Ensure payments and accounts are finalised upon project completion.

Essential Requirements:
Proven track record in house-building quantity surveying.
Minimum 5 years of quantity surveying experience.
A valid CSCS Card.
A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
A UK driving licence.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with site teams, suppliers, and clients.
