Quantity Surveyor

Are you a Rail Quantity Surveyor with experience working on rail civil projects?
 
Do you have experience supporting delivery on multiple fast-paced frameworks and working closely with a Senior QS?
 
Rate: £400/day, Outside IR35
Location: Chelmsford - hybrid working available (2 days from home)
Duration: 6 months, potential for extension
 
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured civils work, my client is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of projects across rail and infrastructure frameworks in the Anglia region.
 
Working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial function across a mix of frameworks and standalone projects, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and efficient delivery.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 3-5 years'' experience who is "on the ball", proactive, and looking to develop within a fast-paced and growing business.
 
Requirements:
·3-5 years'' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
·Background in civil engineering projects (e.g. earthworks, drainage, bridges)
·Experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting senior commercial staff
·NEC contract experience beneficial but not essential
·Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Word
·Full UK driving licence
