Quantity Surveyor - Construction - Manchester (Site Based)Salary: Up to 60,000 + benefits (dependent on experience)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a major Grade II listed refurbishment project in Manchester. Phase One of the scheme comprises 153 residential apartments and 10 commercial units, with completion due in late Q1 2027. A Phase Two development will follow, delivering a further 282 new-build apartments.With a strong secured pipeline of future projects, this role offers long-term stability and progression within a growing construction and development business.The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for providing accurate, value-driven commercial support to projects, ensuring all commercial activities are carried out in line with contractual requirements, internal procedures, and senior management expectations. The role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated project team.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final accountPreparation and assessment of applications for payment, valuations, BoQs, and cost/value reconciliationsCost control and forecasting, including contribution to monthly reports (value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow, budgets)Managing variations and mitigating cost increasesPreparation, assessment, and agreement of monthly subcontractor applications and issuing payment certificatesAssisting with risk and value ..... full job details .....
