This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term programme of planned works within the social housing refurbishment sector, with the option to transition into a permanent role after an initial 6-month period or continue on a freelance basis.The RoleYou will be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of planned maintenance and refurbishment works across a portfolio of social housing projects. This is a key role ensuring financial control, contract compliance, and value delivery across multiple schemes.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging all commercial aspects of planned works projectsPreparing, reviewing, and negotiating subcontractor packagesCost planning, forecasting, and reportingValuations, variations, and final accountsEnsuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual obligationsLiaising closely with operational teams, clients, and stakeholdersRequirementsProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the social housing or property services sectorStrong background in planned maintenance/refurbishment worksExperience working for a main contractor (Tier One experience desirable)Excellent ..... full job details .....
