Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with an established construction and refurbishment contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, based from their Waterloo office.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join a growing business and play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of a range of projects across London.Working closely with the Managing Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and wider operational teams, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day commercial management of projects, ensuring costs, margins, procurement and contractual requirements are effectively managed.The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of allocated projects from procurement through to completion.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial performance of allocated projectsMonitoring project costs, budgets and forecast final accountsMeasuring and valuing works for customer applications and supplier paymentsPreparing valuations, applications for payment and commercial reportsMonitoring project margins and identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesManaging variations and changes to contractsProcuring and managing subcontractors, materials and plantNegotiating subcontractor accounts and agreeing paymentsMonitoring debtors, creditors and retentionsSupporting the preparation and agreement of final accountsAssisting ..... full job details .....
