Quantity Surveyor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a long-term rail infrastructure framework.

You''ll become part of a commercial function, working alongside Assistant Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their commercial experience within a supportive team while working across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and building renewal projects.

The Role

You''ll manage multiple projects simultaneously across both development and delivery workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost control and commercial management

• Cost forecasting and accrual management

• Producing straightforward CVRs

• Setting up and administering subcontracts

• Managing project finances throughout delivery

• Commercial close-out of completed projects

• Working closely with operational teams both on site and in the office

About You

We''re keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

• Quantity Surveying within civil engineering or infrastructure

• FM or maintenance environments managing multiple live projects

• Commercial, finance or project accounting professionals looking to transition into a Quantity Surveying role

You''ll ideally have:

• Strong cost control and forecasting experience

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

• NEC contract experience (preferred but not essential)
