Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Derby
Salary: -47,00050,000 + Car Allowance

We have partnered with a specialist offsite construction contractor delivering truly unique projects across the UK. The role requires a competent, standalone QS with solid measuring experience and the ability to manage packages with limited supervision. This opportunity suits candidates with around 5-10 years'' experience who are comfortable working across contractor environments and can contribute quickly due to the urgent nature of the hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion
• Undertake accurate measurement and cost planning for works
• Prepare and manage valuations, variations and final accounts
• Liaise with project teams to ensure cost control and financial reporting
• Review and administer JCT & NEC forms of contracts
• Support procurement of subcontract packages where required
• Maintain accurate records and commercial documentation
• Contribute to project forecasting and budgeting activities

Experience Required:

• 5-10 years'' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Proven ability to work independently on commercial activities
• Strong measuring experience across relevant construction packages
• Experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor
• Understanding of standard construction contracts
• Competent in cost management, reporting and commercial processes
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
