Job Title: Quantity SurveyorLocation: DerbySalary: 47,000- 50,000 + Car AllowanceSector: Offsite ConstructionWe have partnered with a specialist offsite construction contractor delivering truly unique projects across the UK. The role requires a competent, standalone QS with solid measuring experience and the ability to manage packages with limited supervision. This opportunity suits candidates with around 5-10 years'' experience who are comfortable working across contractor environments and can contribute quickly due to the urgent nature of the hire.Key Responsibilities:Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from inception to completionUndertake accurate measurement and cost planning for worksPrepare and manage valuations, variations and final accountsLiaise with project teams to ensure cost control and financial reportingReview and administer JCT and NEC forms of contractsSupport procurement of subcontract packages where requiredMaintain accurate records and commercial documentationContribute to project forecasting and budgeting activitiesExperience Required:5-10 years'' experience as a Quantity SurveyorProven ability to work independently on commercial activitiesStrong measuring experience across relevant construction packagesExperience working for a main contractor or subcontractorUnderstanding of standard construction contractsCompetent in cost management, reporting and commercial processesGood communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage ..... full job details .....
