Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Location: Immingham
Duration: Long-term
Rate: -350 - -450 Outside IR35

I''m currently working with an established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor who are looking to add a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team on a major project in Immingham.

The role would suit a QS with solid civils/infrastructure experience who is comfortable working within a project environment and managing their own commercial responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Commercial management and cost control
• Monthly reporting and forecasting
• Subcontractor management
• Procurement and valuations
• Applications and payment assessments
• Managing variations and change
• Final accounts
• Commercial risk and opportunity

Looking for:

• Experience working as a QS within civils/infrastructure
• NEC experience
• Strong commercial understanding
• Experience with subcontractors
• Ability to work independently within a project team
