Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity SurveyorLocation: Head office-based, South East (with project travel) Salary: Competitive, depending on experienceWe are working with a growing utilities contractor looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to support delivery across a diverse portfolio of utilities and building projects.This is a permanent opportunity offering exposure to both infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes, with a strong pipeline of secured work. It would suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to step up and progress their career, as well as an established Quantity Surveyor seeking broader project exposure.You will play a key role in supporting the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with operational teams to ensure effective cost control and contract compliance.Key responsibilities include: Managing project costs, valuations, and financial reportingAdministering contracts, primarily under NEC formsHandling variations, change control, and final accountsSupporting procurement and subcontractor managementEnsuring commercial processes are followed across projects The ideal candidate will have: Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity SurveyorBackground in utilities, infrastructure, or civil engineeringExposure to projects such as pipelines, mains, or general civils worksIdeally some experience within building or non-infrastructure schemesStrong ..... full job details .....
