Quality Test Technician Location: Skelmersdale Plant - Minimum of 4 days per week working on-site Pay rate: 18 p/h Length: Six MonthsI am working with one of the world''s largest and most well-known and respected manufacturing companies with a fantastic reputation globally for innovation and quality. They have an exciting opportunity to join their team in Skelmersdale as aQualityTest Technician on a six-month contract basisExperience RequiredConduct hands on testing of Respiratory Protection and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment to ensure full compliance with EN standards while supporting the development of new products.Deliver development, qualification, pre compliance and audit testing to support both existing and future certifications for respiratory protection products.Interpret and apply complex test methods, updating documentation and procedures where improvements or updates are required.Work closely with external test laboratories to refine testing procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Support calibration schedules for test equipment while assisting with safety audits and risk assessments within the laboratory environment.Manage consumables and ensure laboratory equipment and resources remain fully operational.Collaborate across the wider RandD function, working closely with product engineers, product developers and certification and compliance teams.Support the Quality Management System to maintain laboratory accreditation ..... full job details .....
