Role: Quality TechnicianLocation: CheshireWorking Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (40 hours per week, office-based)We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Technician to join a well-established, growing precision engineering manufacturer operating within highly regulated, safety-critical sectors. The RoleAs a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring materials, processes, and products meet strict quality and compliance standards.Responsibilities include: Resolving material certification issues with suppliers, stockists, and test housesLiaising with Engineering and Quality teams on certification queriesSupporting and advising suppliers on material specifications and standardsConducting witness testing to ensure compliance with company and customer requirementsCarrying out internal audits (QMS, product, and process)Supporting investigation and analysis of returned products (e.g. CARs, 8D reports)Assisting with supplier performance reviews, audits, and corrective actionsCreating and maintaining quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, alerts)Investigating product/process failures and carrying out root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) Requirements Experience within a quality role in manufacturing or engineeringKnowledge of quality testing methods and standardsAbility to interpret engineering material specificationsFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and/or API standardsExperience with quality methodologies (e.g. 8D, root cause ..... full job details .....
