An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Technician to join a specialist manufacturing team, playing a vital role in ensuring compliance, quality, and continuous improvement across operations. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, conducting first article inspections, and supporting internal and supplier audits to ISO standards.
This is a hands-on role where you''ll be directly involved in quality processes, working with suppliers, resolving non-conformances, and contributing to improvements that enhance product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct incoming material inspections and process transactions through ERP systems.
Complete first article inspections (FAI) and produce detailed reports.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), liaising internally and with suppliers.
Support internal and supplier audits in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Prepare and update departmental quality reports and KPIs.
Contribute to corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You / Qualifications
Previous experience in a Quality-focused role within manufacturing.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Familiar with mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electronic components.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Good IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office; SharePoint experience advantageous.
A proactive and confident team player with good communication skills.
