Quality Technician
Location: Corby
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation in Corby. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, packaging, and finished goods meet required quality standards and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
  • Perform routine warehouse quality checks on both inbound and outbound goods.
  • Verify product quantities, labels, batch numbers, expiry dates, and overall condition.
  • Identify non-conforming products and implement corrective actions, including segregation and rejection where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis activities.
  • Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, health & safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, Quality Control, or Warehouse Quality role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify defects and quality issues effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Competent with record keeping and basic computer systems.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
