Quality TechnicianLocation: Bristol/Somerset areaHourly Rate: £17.50 PAYEContract: 6 months (high possibility of extensions)Working Arrangements: Hybrid workingOverview We are looking for a Quality Technician (Temp) to support the Supplier Quality team. This role provides additional support within the department, helping ensure effective supplier quality management and allowing engineers to focus on supplier development activities. You will report to the Senior Supplier Quality Technician.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process supplier PPAP submissionsSupport PPAP system clean-up and investigationsLiaise with suppliers on quality issues, returns, and documentationSupport supplier meetings relating to non-conformancesCarry out stock checks, including rework and correctionsManage return-to-stock and scrap processesCoordinate repair and rework documentationSupport returns logistics, including packing and pallet preparationAbout YouDegree or equivalent in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline, or strong industry experienceUnderstanding of quality processes in a manufacturing environmentFamiliar with ISO standards and continuous improvement toolsExperience with problem-solving methods such as 8DStrong communication and teamwork ..... full job details .....
