Quality Technician

Quality Technician Location: Great Dunmow, Essex Salary: Competitive, depending on experience An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Technician to join an established manufacturing business in Great Dunmow. This is a hands-on, shop-floor-based role, working closely with Production, Technical and Operations to maintain and improve quality across the manufacturing process. Around 70% of the role will focus on operational quality, including Goods In, AQL, patrol and first-off inspections, measuring products and maintaining accurate quality records. The remaining element will involve investigating quality issues, supporting customer complaints and contributing to continuous improvement. You will work closely with production teams to identify issues at source, support root cause investigations and help reduce scrap, rework and customer complaints. We are looking for someone with previous quality experience within a manufacturing environment who is practical, detail-focused and confident working with production teams. Experience of AQL, first-off inspection, measuring equipment, 8D, 5 Why or root cause analysis would be advantageous. Injection moulding experience would also be beneficial.
