Quality Technician

Role: Quality TechnicianLocation: Cwmfelinfach Hours: Rotating weekly shifts: 6:00AM - 2:00PM, 2:00PM - 10:00PM, 10:00PM - 6:00AMPay: £14.24 per hourImmediate start available. We''re recruiting an experienced Quality Technician to join a busy manufacturing site. You''ll be the quality lead on shift, keeping production compliant, running containment activities and protecting the quality reputation of the business.The Role: Investigate quality problems on shift and run containment quickly with minimum disruptionCarry out product and process audits and quality checks, including first off and last offCheck process adherence against the Control Plan and FMEA, and escalate any deviationsManage the Quality Gate and quarantine areaAudit stock accuracy on SAPSupport measurement system analysis, calibration, documentation and record controlSupport new product introductions and keep 5S standards up in the office, gauge room and laboratory The Requirements: Previous experience in a Quality Technician or similar quality role in manufacturingAble to use hand gauges, checking fixtures and measuring equipmentAble to read 2D drawings and CMM reports, and create measurement reportsKnowledge of SPC, PPAP and document controlWorking experience of SAP, and CMM experience beneficialGood understanding of quality management systems, with customer containment experience highly beneficialConfident with Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and spoken EnglishAble to commute reliably If you''re a match, ..... full job details .....
