Quality Technician

BASED HAWICK SALARY £28,195 PLUS 26% SHIFT ALLOWANCE (CONTINETAL SHIFTS 3 ON 3 OFF ROTATING DAYS/NIGHTS) Based in the beautiful Scottish Borders (circa 1 hour south of Edinburgh), GRW Talent''s client is a well established global manufacturer of pre-connectorised, blown fibre cable, and ducted network solutions and is at the forefront of the fibre-to-the-X industry. They have two sites in Scotland and form part of an international business stretching into Europe, the USA and Middle-East. The group is undergoing extensive growth and change right now. To help facilitate this, they now need to recruit up to four Quality Technicians. These roles will be working on a continental 3 on 3 off rotating days and nights pattern. Reporting to the UK Quality Manager, the Quality Technician will ensure that internal, customer and regulatory quality standards are met and a continuously improving trend is established. Key responsibilities will include: Monitor production lifecycle, perform regular testing/audits to ensure compliance. Supporting the business areas to uphold continuity of supply. Collaborate with different departments to develop corrective actions, solutions, controls and improvements. Support the NCR process, driving continuous improvement.
