Quality Technician Food Manufacturing

Manpower is recruiting an interim Quality Technician on behalf of our global FMCG client, The Magnum Ice Cream Company, home to iconic brands including Magnum, Ben and Jerry''s, Cornetto and Wall''s. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment and become part of a busy Quality team. The role is based at the Barnwood site in Gloucester and is a full-time temporary position for 3 months, with the possibility of extension, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role offers a competitive salary of £28,800 per annum, pro rata. The successful candidate will support key quality activities including retention sample management, quality system administration, internal audits, NPD quality support, and maintenance of quality records. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key AccountabilitiesRetention Sample Management Maintain and organize retention samples in accordance with company procedures. Ensure accurate labelling, storage, and traceability of samples. Monitor sample retention periods and coordinate disposal activities when required. Support investigations and customer inquiries through sample retrieval and assessment.
